Medical & Health Disclaimer
Oneirox is a research-informed interpretation instrument. It is not a hospital, a clinic, a therapist’s office, or an emergency service. Read this before you trust a reading with your body or your life.
Primary notice
Oneirox is not medical advice, psychiatric diagnosis, psychotherapy, or crisis intervention.
If you are in distress, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or believe you need clinical care — contact a qualified licensed professional or emergency services in your country immediately. No dream reading replaces human care.
Article I
Nature of the instrument
Oneirox Dream Decoder is a free web application that returns mechanism-based readings of dreams — structured as SIGNAL (core truth), BODY (active neurobiological mechanism), and MORNING (the question your nervous system was delivering). These outputs are hypotheses grounded in sleep science literature, not clinical assessments.
The methodology is documented openly on this site. The author is an independent researcher and developer — not a licensed physician, psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, or therapist. Credentials and limits are stated on About and Methodology.
Oneirox is
- A research-informed dream interpretation tool
- Mechanism-based — amygdala, hippocampus, somatic interoception
- One committed reading per dream, not a symbol dictionary
- Built for sleep science literacy at 3am
- Free, transparent, methodology-published
Oneirox is not
- Medical advice or a substitute for a doctor
- Psychiatric or psychological diagnosis
- Psychotherapy, counselling, or crisis support
- A predictor of disease, death, or future events
- A replacement for emergency or inpatient care
Article II
AI & accuracy limits
Decode uses automated processing to apply the Oneirox methodology to your submission. Automated systems can be wrong, incomplete, or misaligned with your lived experience. A reading that feels incorrect may be incorrect. A reading that feels uncomfortably accurate is still not a clinical finding.
Do not delay or avoid professional care because of a dream interpretation — including delaying mental health treatment, medication, sleep studies, or emergency evaluation.
Article III
Body symptoms & sleep
Chest pressure, palpitations, persistent insomnia, nightmares after trauma, or any physical symptom that concerns you on waking may require medical evaluation — independent of dream content. Oneirox discusses somatic signals as interpretive data within dreams; it does not evaluate cardiovascular, neurological, or psychiatric pathology.
The Sensory Dream Mapper and Dream Phase Calculator are adjunct tools for context. They do not measure physiology, diagnose sleep disorders, or replace polysomnography or clinical sleep medicine.
Article IV
Crisis & emergency
If you are in immediate danger or considering self-harm, do not use Oneirox as your first response. Contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
